Palliative Care - An Update, Workshop for Nursing Students of Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Delhi was held by DNipCare at 10 AM on 18th August 2018.

Mrs. Sarita Shokanda, Faculty, R A K College of Nursing inaugurated the workshop.  The faculties from DNipCare disseminated on the subjects as under:

Introduction and Need of Palliative Care: Prof (Dr.) A T Kora,Nursing  Superintendent, St.Stephen's  Hospital, Delhi.

Pain Management in Cancer for Nurses: Dr. Puneet Rathore and Dr.Nandan Choudhary, led by Dr. Kinshuki Jain, Dr.BRAIRCH, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

Role of Nurses in Palliative Care: Dr. C N Bhargavi, Senior Faculty, College of Nursing, Dr.RML Hospital, New Delhi.
Stoma Care: Mr. Jojo Xavier, Ex. Care Specialist, Coloplast.
Community Based Palliative Care: Mr. K.V. Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare.

Mr. PK Abdul Kareem, IES, Economic Adviser, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and DNipCare Volunteer felicitated the faculties and said vote of thanks.
