Continuing Nursing Education Programme" Palliative Care: An Update by GB Pant Hospital in association with DNipCare on 30th August 2019.

The GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi conducted a "Continuing Nursing Education Programme - Palliative Care an Update" in the Hospital Auditorium at 11.00 AM in association with DNipCare on 30th August 2019. 
 

Dr. Rathi Balachandran, Assistant Director General Nursing, Ministry of Health & FW, Govt of India inaugurated the Continuing Nursing Education Programme" Palliative Care: An Update".

Ms. Usha Arora, Co-ordinator, CNE presided over the program.

Dr. Saveena Raheja, Incharge, Palliative Care Unit, Vardhman Mahavira Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjang Hospital, Dr(Prof) Madhu Dayal, Consultant, Palliative Care Unit, VMMC and Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, Prof(Dr) A. T. Kora, Nursing Superintendent, St. Stephen's Hospital, Delhi ,Mr. K. V. Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare, Ms. Meltina Singh, Chairperson, CNE and Nursing Superintendent, addressed the Nursinng fraternity attended the program.  The CNE was jointly Coordinated by Mrs. Usha Ahuja, Nursing Superintendent GB Pant Hospital & Shri Suresh Thaliyaril, Sr. Nursing Officer VMMC and Safdarjang Hospital and Secretary DNipCare.  It has always been the great efforts of Mrs. Usha Ahuja to get the Nursing fraternity updated with the latest in the best interest of suffering patients.

Coverage of DNipCare Palliative Charitable OP Clinic by Flowers TV on 25th August 2019.  Mr. Sooraj, one of the Palliative family Members who urgently requires a motorized wheelchair to commute from residence to Delhi University and back consequent on his qualifying entrance examination of LLB Course in DU has also been focused during the program to seek benefactors among the viewers to support him.  The medicines worth Rs.15000/- donated by Federation of Indian Nurses in Qatar (FINQ) have also been handed over to the DNipCare and received by the President Mr. AT Sainudin and Gen. Secretary, KV Hamza during the program.

Medical Camp Shanti Ashram, the Home for Destitute in Jassola Village, Delhi on Sunday, 18th August 2019.



The DNipCare Volunteers after the weekly Charitable Palliative OP Clinic on Sunday, 18th August 2019, held  a Medical Camp and distributed the required medicines for the patients of Shanti Ashram, the Home for Destitute in Jassola Village, Delhi.  Dr. Raoof MP, Senior Resident AIIMS and Dr. Hitesh Kumar from MAMC led the team.  The team comprising Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Ms.  Sister Hanife Gamwell, Palliative Care Nurse, Mr. Cyriac Antony, KV Hamza, Mr. Nikhil Krishna Prasad, Mr. Subin Salam, Miss Mehrunnissa,  Miss Aishwarya, Mr. Hashir and Miss Dilsha etc.closely interacted with the patients.
