Palliative Care Awareness Sensitization Campaigns for ANM Students of 1) Rural Health Training Centre (DGHS, MoHFW), Najafgarh, Delhi and 2) Lady Reading Health School (DGHS, MoHFW), Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi on 25th January 2020


On the eve of Republic Day, the Volunteers of DNipCare held two Palliative Care Sensitization Campaigns on 25th January 2020 for the ANM Students of Rural Health Training Centre (DGHS, MoHFW), Najafgarh, Delhi and Lady Reading Health School (DGHS, MoHFW), Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi.  



Dr. Nandan Chaudhary, Palliative Care Specialist, IRCH, AIIMS, Dr. MK Sharma, Additional Secretary(Retd.), Ministry of Law & Justice, Mrs. Neelima Shingde, Nursing In-charge, IRCH, AIIMS, and KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare sensitized the students in the program presided over by Ms. Savita Devi, Principal of the Institute and coordinated by Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare in Rural Health Training Centre (DGHS, MoHFW), Najafgarh.  Dr. Sunil Sandhu, CMO was the Chief Guest on the occasion.



Dr. C.N. Bhargavi, Faculty, Nursing College, Dr. RML Hospital, Mrs. Neelima Shingde, Nursing In-charge, IRCH, AIIMS, and KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare sensitized the students in the program presided over by Dr. Geeta Malik, Principal of the Institute and coordinated by Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare in Lady Reading Health School (DGHS, MoHFW), Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi.

  
As the Palliative Care is not a part of the academic curriculum for the ANM students, both faculties and students of the Institutes strongly felt the functional necessity of not only including the subject in the curriculum, but also getting adequate exposure and hands on experience for the Students in the field for the betterment of chronic patients.
