May be it is the first time that Palliative Care is being represented and propagated in the MTNL Perfect Health Mela being conducted every year by Heart Care Foundation. We are grateful to the organizers for their concern for the ailing patients.
Let us together propagate the message of Palliative Care to everybody and try to mitigate the pains of suffering patients around us.
Hope to see you all there.

  1. Dear All,

I believe that the stall at Perfect Health Mela was a big opportunity for us to spread the message of care to the busy people in Delhi. Even though all didn't stop at our counter, those who spared the little amount of time give hope that still there are people with a small space for others in their heart. One lady told me at the stall, "such people (people with concern for others and help them) are not all present in today's world". I just wished that may God help her to find out herself in that category to correct that thought.
I am impressed by a small school girl, who answered my question on what one can do for those who are sick, with all the activities we do under DNipCare. We need our young fellows to be like her.

Let us plan continuous activities to remind the people who stopped at our counters about Palliative Care. And at the same time, improve our care to the patients who are with us also.

Hats off to the man who makes all this come true...the one who is in the background and in the front, Mr Hamza.

  2. It is defenitely an attempt to air the conecept and necessity of palliative care within the hard core spectrum of population having always busy schedule. But if everybody takes out a small amout of thier TV time and spend that time with atleast one ailing patient ...

Thanks to Sumitha for expessing her concerns.

Also we all should thank to Sumitha, Suresh thaliriyil,Babu Gurucharan, Omana ,Jeevan,Maya, hasna and all for their active partcipation in the mela. Itis a concerted efoort .Let us hope more such successful events like one going on at IITF where one stall being given to Dnip care..thanks to KVH & MoHFW
