Cancer Prevention & Palliative Care sensitization Campaign in St. George’s Jacobite Syrian Church, Vikaspuri









































The Cancer Prevention & Palliative Care sensitization Campaign has been done in St. George’s Jacobite Syrian Church, Vikaspuri Plot No. 33&34, Kanhaiya Nagar, Block –A, Nilothi Extn. Vikaspuri, NEW DELHI-110059 by the volunteers of DNipCare today, i.e., 16th June 2013.  Rev. Fr. Roji Mathew, Vicar, inaugurated the campaign and declared the decision f or ensuring the actie participation of the church in the palliative activities in Vikaspuri area along with DNipCare
Dr. Anjana Saxena, former Deputy Commissioner, Ministry of Health & FW led the campaign and talked in detail about the preventive and curative aspects of different varieties of Cancer.  Dr. Deepak Srivastava, eminent Neurologist explained the curative options as well as the Palliative Care possibilities for patients suffering from neurological disorders.  Ajith Kumar, Mansha Bagai, Seema Prasad, Caroline Arthur presented the Palliative Care mission of DNipCare to the audience, interacted with them and shared their palliative experiences as volunteers.  KV Hamza coordinated the program and Cyriac Antony, Treasurer of DNipCare said vote of thanks.
