Palliative Care - An Update, Workshop for Nursing Students of College of Nursing, Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi by DNipCare on 13th October  2018.

Prof. Dr. Raminder Kalra, Principal, College of Nursing, Holy Family Hospital inaugurated the workshop.  The faculties from DNipCare disseminated on the subjects as under:

Professional Self Care for Nurses: Mr. Rathish Nair, Secretary, Indian Nursing Council, Delhi.

Pain Management in Cancer for Nurses: Dr. Puneet Rathore  Dr.BRAIRCH, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

Role of Nurses in Palliative Care: Dr. C N Bhargavi, Senior Faculty, College of Nursing, Dr.RML Hospital, New Delhi.

Community Based Palliative Care: Mr. K.V. Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare.

Communication and Breaking Bad News : Dr. Annie Kurian, Faculty, College of Nursing, Lady Hardinge Medical College.

Introduction and Need for Palliative Care: Mrs.Jessy Shaji Paul, Sr.  Nursing Officer AIIMS, New Delhi.

Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare coordinated the workshop and
Mr. PK Abdul Kareem, IES, Economic Adviser, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and DNipCare Volunteer felicitated the faculties and said vote of thanks.
