On the occasion of International Nurses Week, the DNipCare in association with College of Nursing, Vardhaman Mahaveera Medical College and Safdarjang Hospital,N.Delhi. held a Palliative Care Sensitization Program for Nursing Students from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM on Saturday 07th May 2022. The Programme was inaugurated by Dr.Reti Balachandran, ADG(Nursing), DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
Radha Rani Tiwari, Principal, College of Nursing, VMMC and Safdarjang Hospital presided over the programme.
Dr Saveena Raheja and Dr Madhu Dayal from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Mrs. Nileema Shingade, Sr. Nursing Officer, BRAIRCH, AIIMS conducted the Sessions on Palliative Care, Pain Management and the Role of Nurses in Palliative Care during the program.
KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare moderated the programme Coordinated by Shri Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare.
