Prelude to World Health Day - Palliative Care Sensitization Programme - IIT, Delhi Students

Dear friends,

As a prelude to the World Health Day of 7th April, our DNipCare is holding a Palliative Care sensitization campaign for the students of IIT, Delhi on 6th April 2011, on the eve of World Health Day at 5.30 PM in 6LT1, IIT Campus.

The volunteers of DNipCare will address the IIT, Delhi students, who are already committed to social causes and working as volunteers of National Service Scheme, and convey the message and necessity of Palliative Care for ailing patients. Experiences of rendering Palliative Care to the forlorn patients in the bustling metropolis of Delhi will be shared by the volunteers of DNipCare with the IIT Students.

Efforts will also be made to highlight the role of technocrats being groomed in premier scientific and engineering institutions like IITs in developing cost effective and sustainable equipments for physically challenged Palliative patients.

You are welcome to attend the programme.

With warm regards,

k.v. hamza,
General Secretary, DNipCare
