DNipCare in association with FOSA, Delhi and Echo India Organized the "Sensitization Training Programme on Palliative Care for University/College Students" Batch 1, Session 3 on 26th April 2025.
Ms. Rajvinder Kaur, Patient Engagement Officer, Indian Cancer Society, Delhi was the Special Guest during the occasion and she has elucidated well on the different aspects of social care for the debilitating patients especially cancer patients from her long experience of working with the organization. In addition, she has also gave a real insight into the various social measures and schemes of Government of India, various State Governments and other Non-Governmental Organizations focussed on the patient care.
Prof. (Dr.) AT Kora, Nursing Superintendent(Retd.), St. Stephens Hospital was the faculty today to impart the knowledge on Importance of Psycho-Social Care for the patients and their families. Dr. Kora explained the intricacies of Palliative Care with focus on Psycho-Social Care with live examples of patient care she has carried out in her career.
Miss Safa Mariyam, Life Science Student of Gargi College, Delhi University, summed up the whole Session proceedings for the benefit of all the participants.
KV Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare, welcomed the dignitaries and participants and also moderated the Session.
Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Vice President, DNipCare coordinated the Programme.
