Dear friends,
We, the volunteers of DNipCare are grateful to Rashtriya Sahara News paper and Sahara Samay TV Channel for their efforts in bringing the Palliative Care concept into limelight in Hindi media so that more patients suffering from debilitating diseases in and around Delhi shall get the information that such a care exists for them. Further, the common public will also be sensitized on the necessity of developing this empathetic attitude through Palliative Care towards hapless patients around us. Sahara Samay TV Channel telecasted a news item at 7.30 AM on 25.05.2010 about DNipCare activities including patient visits. As a follow up, the press clipping published in Today’s Rashtriya Sahara Newspaper is attached herewith please.

DNipCare's activities detailed by Indian Express Newspaper on 2nd May 2010
An untimely and unexpected departure of Mr. Kumaran
We the Volunteers of DNipCare condole an untimely and unexpected departure of Mr.Kumaran yesterday (02.05.2010) while going back home by Duranto Train. Molly, Abdul, Ajith Kumar, Abdul Khalik, Kareem, Madhu all were there with their full devotion and affection supporting our Kurmaran chettan.
We could render care for him while he was admitted in AIIMS Emergency Unit as an unknown patient and saw a hope and relief on his face when he got integrated with his family and was readying for his journey back home.
But seldom we thought it was his last journey, especially when he fondly said that he can never forget our faces and shook hands saying good bye. He was true, now his soul is in the other world where the human tendency of forgetting may not be there!!!
k.v hamza,
Gen. Secretary, DNipCare
