Cancer Awareness, CPR Training & Palliative Care Sensitization program by Kerala School Mayur Vihar in association with DNipCare for the Students of 10th 11th and 12th Standards on 29th September 2023 on the occasion of World Heart Day.

 

A program of Cancer Awareness, CPR Training and Palliative Care Sensitization has been conducted by Kerala School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi in association with DNipCare for the Students of  10th 11th and 12th Standards on 29th September 2023 on the occasion of World Heart Day.

Mrs. Latha Nanda Kumar, Principal inaugurated and presided over the program.  

Dr. Francis Dias, led the campaign.  Mr. Desanth Chakumpath, Nursing Officer, Safdarjung Hospital imparted training on CPR not only to the students, but also for the faculties of the  school.  

Mr. Michael PJ, DNipCare Volunteer talked on essentials of Palliative Care.  

Ms. Seema Prasad, Student Coordinator of DNiCare spoke on the role of  students in Palliative Care.

KV Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare made the concluding remarks on Palliative Care.  

Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary DNipCare coordinated the event.

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Clinic on 24th September 2023

 

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Clinic in association with KMWA, Delhi on 24th September 2023 managed by the Volunteers Team of Dr. Francis Dias, Dr. Shamia Anwar, of AIIMS, and Dr. Joseph Lazar Kannath from MAMC, New Delhi supported by Mr. Nikhil Krishna Prasad , Nursing Officer of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Ms. Geeta Rani, ANM, Delhi Government, Ms. Pearly Sen, Consultant Bio-Chemist, Jaipur Golden Hospital, other Volunteers, Mr. Abdul Kareem, Mr. Subin Salam, Miss Khushi, Mr. Michael PJ, Mr. Mashal from Zakhir Hussain College, DU, Students from Jamia Millia Islamia viz., Mr. Suhail, Mr. Munawar, Miss Rameen Khanam, Mr. Adil Salam,  and coordinated by KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare.   The NSS, IIT Delhi students viz., Mr. Sanidhya Mittal, Miss Kritika Dudi and ... have also visited the Clinic today as part of the restarting of their project with DNipCare. 

Ms. Geeta Rani Ma'm has also enlightened the patients on the necessity of taking care about the communicable and non-communicable diseases.  

Further, after the Clinic, all the volunteers cheerfully celebrated the Happy Birthday of Dr. Francis Dias and also Mr. Nikhil Krishna Prasad becoming proud father of a Baby Girl.
