Palliative Care Sensitization Class for Students of Kerala School, RK Puram, New Delhi

The DNipCare held a Palliative Care Sensitization Campaign for the students of Kerala School, RK Puram, New Delhi today.  Students from Class 6 to 9 participated in the program enthusiastically with active interaction on different finer aspects of Palliative Care and Cancer Prevention.  Mrs. Meera Nair, Principal inaugurated the and  Mrs. Ajitha Kumari Anil coordinated program.  The volunteers  of DNipCare viz., Suresh Thaliyaril, Seema Prasad, Arun Unnikrishnan, Sajitha Elamon, Shakeela Jamaludheen and KV Hamza presented the program elucidating the community mobilization of Palliative Care.   Jayalakshmi & Meenakshi, the teachers also spoke on the occasion and discussed the subject especially involving the children, inculcating the discipline and practising Palliative Care in the possible method within the ambit of the school scenario.

Palliative Care Monthly Review Meeting on 08th February 2014 & Cancer Prevention and Palliative Care Sensitization Campaign on 9th February 2014












































Dear friends,

The Palliative Care Monthly Review Meeting of DNipCare will be held at 5.30 PM on Saturday, 08th February 2014 in Kerala Club, M 67, Connaught Place, New Delhi.  All the volunteers/members and well-wishers are requested to attend the meeting positively at 5.30 PM and support the mission.

Further, the DNipCare in collaboration with National Malayalees Association (NAM) will hold a Cancer Prevention and Palliative Care Sensitization Campaign during the Family Get-together program of NAM at 3.00 PM on Sunday, 9th February 2014 in Paramahans Public School, ALT Ghaziabad.  
Mr. AT Sainudin, President, DNipCare will inaugurate the function presided over by Mr. Arattu puzha Bhanu, Chairman, NAM, Ghaziabad.  Dr. Anjana Saxena, Deputy Commissioner (Retd), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India will conduct the Cancer Prevention Session.     

The Session on Palliative Care sensitization will be held by volunteers of DNipCare along with experience sharing of community based Palliative Care & its potential and also setting pace for mobilizing Palliative Home Care visits to the already identified long term, bedridden, terminally ill patients including Cancer patients and Geriatrics of the area.

The members and well-wishers of NAM have decided to acquire Palliative Care discipline and render Palliative Home Care for the debilitating patients in the Ghaziabad area.
