The first Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) with the theme of Palliative Care was conducted in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital, Hari Nagar, Delhi with faculty participation from DNipCare on Saturday, 19th May 2018. The CNE was inaugurated by Dr. AK Mehta, Medical Director and presided over by Mrs. Saroj Nagar, Deputy Nursing Superintendent and coordinated by Mr. Ajesh AK, President Nurses Organization, DDU. The faculties were, Dr. Reti Balachandran, Assistant Director General(Nursing), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Bhargavi N, Faculty of Nursing College, Dr.RML Hospital, Mrs. Alice Stella, National Faculty IPM, Calicut, Mrs. Lissy Shaji, Faculty AIIMS, Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary and KV Hamza, General Secretary DNipCare.

Goodwill Ambassador 2018 Award to DNipCare
(Delhites’ National Initiative in Palliative Care) from Mahavir Chaudhary
Foundation, Patna, Bihar.
The Mahavir Chaudhary Foundation set up in the name
of Late Shri Mahavir Chaudhary, former Minister and social reformer of Bihar,
honoured DNipCare for its exemplary services in the Palliative Care field for
the chronic patients in and around Delhi.
The award was presented by Shri Satya Pal Malik, Honourable Governor
Bihar in the presence of Shri Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister and received by KV
Hamza, General Secretary DNipCare on behalf of all the volunteers of the
organization on 04th May 2018 in Patna, Bihar.
Two other Organizations viz.,Nayi Dharti and Pariwar, have also been awarded for
contribution in their respective fields of Education and upliftment of
downtrodden sections of the society.
It is an award for the relentless efforts of all our respected Volunteers and well-wishers in the Palliative Care mission under DNipCare.
