Diseases Awareness for Ageing people by Helpage India in association with DNipCare in DMRC Shelter Home, Govindpuri, Delhi on 21st September 2019

The Helpage India conducted a Diseases Awareness for the Aeging people in association with DNipCare on 21st September 2019 in DRMC Shelter Home, Govindpuri.  Dr. Shihla Sherin of Lady Hardinge Medical College headed the team comprising Mr. Abdul Gafoor, Clinical Psychologist, KV Hamza, General Secretary, Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary,  Ms. Seema Prasad, Volunteer Coordinator, Ms. Monika Dhyani, Ms. Riya and Ms. Shristi, students from IGNOU and DU.

Ms. Geetika Sengupta of Helpage India inaugurated the program coordinated by Mr. Rohit Kumar.  It was a wonderful interactive session for all the ageing participants on getting them heard describing their  physical and emotional issues by the Volunteers of DNipCare.

We are really sorry to inform that Mrs. Manjeet Kaur, (55) one among our Palliative family members, a patient of Multiple sclerosis and resident of Prakash Mohalla, Delhi passed away today evening (10.09.2019) at 4.00 PM as informed by Ms. Shikha Gulati, our Volunteer from the area and who used to visit her with us.  Let us all pray for the departed soul.

"Cancer Awareness & Palliative Care Sensitization" in Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Sector 50, NOID in Aassociation with DNipCare on 08th September 2019

The Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Sector 50, NOIDA in association with DNipCare on 08th September 2019 conducted a "Cancer Awareness & Palliative Care Sensitization".
 

Rev. Fr. Lijo Johnson inaugurated and presided over the Program.  Dr. Jugal Kishore, Head of Department, Community Medicine, Vardhman Mahavira Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital led the campaign along with Ms. Tuba Naqvi, PhD Scholar on Palliative Care, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Ms. Sanju Arya, Psychologist DRDO, KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary DNipCare. 

Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary DNipCare and Mrs. Saramma Cherian of  Suvishesha Sevika Sangham, Immanual Mar Thoma Church jointly coordinated the event.  Mrs. Sherly said vote of thanks.
