The Online Academic Programme of DGHS -DNipCare – ECHO India program on “Promoting Excellence in Palliative Care Nursing – Batch-2, Session-6” held on 08th January 2022.
The
topic of the Session -2 was Paediatric Palliative Care.
Mr. Desanth Chakkambath, Volunteer DNipCare welcomed the faculties,
dignitaries and all the participating Nursing fraternity.
Dr. CN Bhargavi, Faculty, College of Nursing, Dr. RML Hospital and Academic Coordinator DNipCare moderated the Session.
Dr. Latha Venkiteshan, Principal, College of Nursing, AIIMS, New Delhi who was the Special Invitee for the Programme, felicitated the programme and spoke on the occasion.
Hanife Mac Gamwell Palliative Care Nurse Specialist, Coordinator and Instructor ELNEC USA, Honorary Head and Instructor, India and Volunteer of DNipCare introduced the topic of the Session to the participants.
Dr. Mohammed Ishak Tayoob, Pediatric Palliative Care Consultant, Pain Relief & Palliative Care Society, Hyderabad, Telengana made the presentation and talked at length on the subject of Pediatric Palliative Care.
Case/Experience sharing done by Ms. Lakshmipriya PS, Associate Professor, Institute of Nursing Education, Gandhinagar, Kottayam, Kerala.
