DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Medical Camp on 15th December 2024

 

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Medical Camp in association with KMWA, Delhi on 15th December 2024 managed by the Volunteers Team of Dr. Shamiya Anwar of  AIIMS, New Delhi and Dr. Usman Ghani  supported by Mr. Nikhil Krishna Prasad, Nursing Officer of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Mr. Arun Prakash, Nursing Officer, AIIMS, Mr. Krishna Sankar, Nursing Officer, Safdarjung Hospital, Ms. Pearly Sen, Consultant Bio-Chemist of Jaipur Golden Hospital, with other Volunteers Mr. Somasekharan, Mr. Abdul Kareem, Mr. Nanda Kumaran, Miss Pooja Lohia, Nursing Student, Miss Eshu Lohiya, Miss Shabnam Abbasi and Miss Kherunnisha, both Students from Jamia Millia Islamia.  

Analysis of Number of patients availed consultation and medicines from the Clinic today : 84 patients with the break up of 19 Male, 65 Female, 18 Pediatric and 28 Geriatric patients.

The Pineapple Halwa and Banana Chips from Calict were, however, the attention grabbers and relished well during post clinic refreshment of Volunteers.

Patients Visit along with Mr. Christian Tsotie of Cameroon, Guest Volunteer in DNipCare on 12th December 2024

Mind of a Palliative Volunteer always revolves around the thoughts of suffering patients and their plights.  Mr. Christian Tsotie, Nursing Professional of Cameroon and associated with the Palliative Care Unit Soigner La Vie (SLV) https://slvasoc.org/en/home-english/   was having a day to spent in Delhi enroute to his hometown and so happily opted to volunteer with DNipCare on 12th December 2024, thanks to our common friend Ms. Anu Savio Thelly.   He, despite the language barrier, but equipped with the Palliative Care experience of his native place could very well relate the patients met during the day in the Sir Soba Singh Dharmashala of  Delhi State Cancer Institute, Dilshad Garden empathetically.  Ms. Kalpana Gupta and Ms. Seema Prasad also joined the patient visit today. 

 

A cup of hot tea after the patient visits during this chilly winter day adds real value and vigour, courtesy Mr. Sunil of Neelagiri Restaurant, GTB Enclave, Dilshad Garden.

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Medical Camp in association with KMWA, Delhi on 08th December 2024 managed by the Volunteers Team of Dr. Mohammed Yunus of  B.M, Gupta Hospital, Uttam Nagar and Dr. Nihal Mansoor of Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla supported by Mr. Nikhil Krishna Prasad, Nursing Officer of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, with other Volunteers Mr. Somasekharan, Dr. Bushair MT, Mr. Abdul Kareem, Mr. Michael PJ, Mr. Nanda Kumaran, Miss Shabnam Abbasi and Miss Kherunnisha, both Students from Jamia Millia Islamia.  

Mr. Sadananda Menon Sir, our respected veteran paid his routine visit to the Camp. 

Mr. Bhimsen Jhamb, Evaluator for the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation - 28th Mahaveer Awards has also visited the Camp today and interacted with both patients and the Volunteers at length.

Analysis of Number of patients availed consultation and medicines from the Clinic today : 104 patients with the break up of 28 Male, 76 Female, 32 Pediatric and 20 Geriatric patients.
