Observing World Cancer Day by Metro College of Nursing, Greater Noida in association with DNipCare on 04th February 2025






















The Metro College of Nursing under Metro College of Health Sciences & Research (MCHSR), Greater Noida in association with DNipCare observed the World Cancer Day with a Seminar on Cancer Awareness & Palliative Care Sensitization on 04th February 2025.

Dr. Kanak Lata, Director Education MCHSR inaugurated and presided over the program.  Prof. Pravin Prakash, Principal, Metro College of Nursing convened the event jointly with Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Vice President, DNipCare.  Ms. Shashi Sharma, Sr. Nursing Officer, IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi and Volunteer DNipCare took the session on Cancer Awareness and KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare sensitized the Nursing students of BSc Nursing and GNM Courses on Community based Palliative Care.  

Prof. Muzaffar Mukrani, Vice Principal, Prof. Sneha Mathew, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Vinit Ramawat, Faculty MCN  coordinated the program moderated by Ms. Jaunita John Barren, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Meenu Barren, Nursing Tutor MCN jointly moderated the program.

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Medical Camp on 02nd February 2025.

 

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Medical Camp in association with KMWA, Delhi on 02nd February 2025 managed by the Volunteers Team led by Dr. Shafeeque SR(Derma) of AIIMS & Dr. Aafreen Azaa Anwar of Hamdard Institute of Medical Science, supported by Mr. Nikhil Krishna Prasad of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Delhi, Ms. Pearly Sen, Consultant Bio-Chemist, Jaipur Golden Hospital, Mr. Krishna Sankar and Mr. Desanth C of Safdarjung Hospital, along with other Volunteers  Mr. Somasekharan, Mr. Subin Salam, Dr. Bushair MT, Miss Gopika Suresh of Indraprastha College for Women under Delhi University, Miss Arpita Suresh of Ambedkar University,  Jamia Millia Islamia Students Miss Siyana Siyad, Mr. Salah, Miss Shabnam, Miss Kherunnissa, other Students Miss Moni, Master Yuvraj. 

Mr. Sadananda Menon Sir, our respected veteran visited our Camp today and exchanged pleasantries with the Volunteers.   

Analysis of Number of patients availed consultation and medicines from the Clinic today : 144 patients with the break up of 31 Male, 113 Female, 44 Pediatric and 25 Geriatric patients.   Dr. Shafeeque, just before completely winding up today's camap, has also attended to one of our homecare patients over video calling and prescribed medicines making it to a total 145 patients consultation today, the second largest number of patients in this Camp so far.
