One in 10 people in India
suffers from Chronic Kidney diseases (CKD). Prevention is always welcome. But
what about supporting those already affected and suffering? Unable to afford
neither kidney transplant nor twice or thrice a week dialysis costing an average Rs.1800/- per dialysis, the CKD is
the worst scenario especially when the facilities in public sector is grossly
inadequate to the extent that even AIIMS, New Delhi is said to have hardly 13
machines only. Will the Government authorities and individuals take it
seriously?
