DNipCare observed World Health Day on 07th April 2019

The DNipCare observed ‘World Health Day’ on Sunday, 07^th April 2019 with a Get-together of patients, especially paraplegic wheelchair bound and other chronic patients, Doctors, Nursing fraternity and the Volunteers of the mission in Kerala School, Canning Road, New Delhi. 

Mr. AT Sainudin, President DNipCare presided over the function and other dignitaries in addition to the patients were Dr.Rakesh  Garg,Assosciate Professor and Consultant,Onco Anaesthesiology,Intensive care,Pain and Palliative  Care,IRCH,AIIMS,N.Delhi, Dr. Deepak Sirvastava, Renowned Neurologist, Dr. Muzammil Firoz, Senior Resident, Dr. Pritam Samanta, PG student Orthopaedics, Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. Chaya, Palliative Specialist, Dr. AT Kora, Sr. Hanife  Mac Gamwell,  Abdul Gafoor, Sanju Arya, Psychologists, Dr. Hitesh Kumar, Dr. Arun Unnikrishnan Mrs. Laila Peter, etc.  Mr. Abdul Kareem welcomed the audience, Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare coordinated the event.  

Mr. Sooraj Kodungalloor imparted the skill of making Paper-Seed Pen, Paper folders, Paper files and other stationery items to the other patients and their family members so as to facilitate a kind of livelihood and to bring the patients out of the discarded and dejected feeling.   Mr. Syamalan Perinchira was also one of the focus of all the audience to get their names written in the beautiful calligraphy.

The students of SRCC, Aditi Mahavidyalaya, IGNOU etc made the event with their wholehearted participation.  Altogether the program was an occasion for the patients to interact with the fellow patients, expert Doctors and Volunteers in the DNipCare Palliative family.
