An attempt to sow the seeds of a Pallative Care Unit in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on 30th November 2019 in association with DNipCare.

 It was an attempt to sow the seeds of Palliative Care Unit in Jodhpur with the concerted efforts of Ms. Sister Hanife Gamwell using the forum of End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) in association with DNipCare and Medical fraternity of AIIMS, Jodhpur on 30th November 2019.  The venue was enchanting ''Cafe Royale'' of Old Town, Jodhpur organized by Ms.  Sister Hanife Gamwell and the Guests included Dr. Manoj Kamal, Associate Professor, Anesthesia, AIIMS, Jodhpur, KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare, Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare, Ms. Mamta, Senior Nursing Officer, AIIMS, Jodhpur, Mr. Satish, Temple Trustee, Jodhpur among a host of other medical and para-medical professionals and participants of the ELNEC program currently undergoing in AIIMS, Jodhpur.

The experience and nitty-gritty of setting up of a Community based Palliative Care Unit have been shared by KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare to the enthusiastic audience.  

With the reassurance from the medical and para-medical team members, the audience vowed unanimously to put in their concerted efforts for setting up of a Palliative Care Unit in the same lines of DNipCare functioning in Delhi, the National Capital Territory.
