Dr. Abdul Mannan, Joint Director, DSCI was the Chief Guest during the function.  Patients belonging to the far flung areas in the States of North & Eastern India with their bystanders participated in the program along with the volunteers of DNipCare from different walks of life.    Dr. Abdul Mannan spoke on the occasion on the importance of fasting during the holy month of Ramzan as the self restrain from all evils and thereby a fight with the self to cleanse not only body but the heart and soul as well.

In addition to DNipCare Volunteers, the Volunteers of KMWA-HCW also actively participated in organizing the event and making it a grand success as the occasion brought back a smile of contention on the faces of suffering patients for whom the festivals and festivities are otherwise taboo when reeling under pain and related sufferings of the disease.
