Palliative Care Sensitization Lecture in Jamia Millia Islamia University

Extension Lecture on Palliative Care was given to the students of Social Work Department, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi in the forenoon and a sensitization programme held for the members of Social Forum in the afternoon today, 5th March 2011. We do expect that the potential of students could be effectively channelized to provide quality Palliative Care to the ailing patients in the residential colonies around their University. All the receptive, committed students of the department shows a ray of hope for a bright future for the Palliative discipline in their hands and thereby not only hope for providing succour to the debilitating patients, but also for disseminating this Palliative culture and attitude to lot many members of student fraternity.
