The volunteers of DNipCare celebrated Independence Day as well as 7th Anniversary of DNipCare on 15th August 2015.
As the usual practice, the volunteers this time also celebrated Independence Day with Cancer Patients of Delhi State Caner Institute and Sir Sobha Singh Dharamshala of the Institute under the theme "Freedom From Pain". For the many new volunteers it was not only a real different experience, but also had a feeling of day well spent satisfaction after meeting all the ailing cancer patients. Visiting each and every patient, interacting and spending time with them while exchanging pleasantries and providing fruit juices, Independence Day greeting cards etc were part of the day long program conducted by DNipCare through volunteers for the cancer patients. Simultaneously, structuring volunteerism for the mission in order to ensure consistency of providing quality of life for the debilitating patients is the need of the hour at this juncture of completion of 7 years by the organization. Optimal use of social media for sensitization, propagation and feedback on Palliative Care has again been decided to be roadmap for immediate future.
