DNipCare celebrated World Hospice & Palliative Care Day on 13th October 2018 in Kerala Club, M-67, Connaught Place, New Delhi

DNipCare celebrated World Hospice & Palliative Care Day on 13th October 2018 in  Kerala Club, M-67, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

The program started with a session on Comprehensive Breast Cancer Awareness taken  by Dr. Anita Khokhar, Department of Community Medicine, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi along with Dr. Rajni Mutneja, Shanti Avedna Sadan, New Delhi.  The NSS Volunteers of SRCC, Delhi University and the Psychology students from Jamia Millia Islamia University who actively participated in the program vowed to further impart the knowledge attained to the community for prevention of Cancer. 

The World Hospice & Palliative Care Day celebration was inaugurated by Mr. Joy Vazhayil, IAS, DG Hydrocarbons.  
Mr. AT Sainudin, President, DNipCare presided over the program and addressed the participants.  

Prof. (Dr.) Jugal Kishore, Head, Community Medicine, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Advocate Jose Abraham of Supreme Court, Mr. Subu Rahman, Commissioner, Delhi Development Authority, Mr. Abdul Gafoor, PhD Scholar (Psychology), Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi participated in the Panel Discussion on Passive Euthanasia Medico-Legal, Psychological and Palliative Care perspective.   KV Hamza, General Secretary DNipCare interjected the discussion.  Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril,
Secretary DNipCare coordinated the event attended by people from different walks of life.  Mr. Cyriac Antony, Treasurer said vote of Thanks.
