"Palliative Care: An Update, Workshop / Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) by The Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi for the newly inducted Nursing Officers in association with DNipCare on 06.02.2020

The Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi conducted "Palliative Care: An Update, Workshop / Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) for the newly inducted Nursing Officers of the hospital in association with DNipCare on 06.02.2020 in the Auditorium of the Hospital. The following sessions were included in the program:

1.Introduction and Need of Palliative Care: by Dr. Rathi Balachandran, ADG (Nursing), MoHFW, Govt. of India.

2. Community Based Palliative Care: Mr.K.V.Hamza,General Secretary, DNipCare.

3.Communication and Breaking Bad News: Sr. Hanife Mac Gamwell, Palliative Care Nurse Specialist.

Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary DNipCare coordinated the program with Ms.Reeta Sharma Ms. Monika Mahajan, Ms.Jyoti Chawla, Ms.Durga Sarkar and Mr.Johnson Marandhi, Nursing Officers of the Hospital.
