SV College of Nursing & Little Flower College of Nursing Bengaluru celebrated World Heart Day online in association with DNipCare on 29th September 2022.
Dr. M.K. Ramesh, Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore inaugurated the program. Prof. (Dr.) Bimla Kapoor, Chairperson, Committee of Experts, National Nursing & Midwifery Commission Bill 2020, former Director, School of Health Sciences, IGNOU was the Chief Guest of the Programme.
KV Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare moderated the Session on Topic "Cardiovascular Health for everyone" done by Dr. Ankur Chikara, Assistant Professor, Vardhman Mahaveera Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital and Mr. C. Desant, Nursing Officer, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital and Trauma Nurse Coordinator.
The second Session was with the Topic "Palliative Care : An Update" done by Dr. Bablesh Mahawar, Interventional Pain & Palliative Physician, Senior Consultant, Ramakrishna Care Hospital, Raipur and Mrs. Alice Stella Verginea, ex-MNS, National Faculty IAPC, ELNEC Master Trainer.
