A program of Cancer Awareness, CPR Training and Palliative Care Sensitization has been conducted by DNipCare Volunteers for the Students of 09th, 10th 11th and 12th Standard of Kerala School, Vikaspuri, Delhi on 25th July 2023.
Mrs. Jayanthi R. Chandran, Principal inaugurated and presided over the program.
Dr. Rusna Madhur, Sr. Resident, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital, New Delhi led the campaign. Mr. Desanth Chakumpath, Nursing Officer, Safdarjung Hospital imparted training on CPR not only to the students, but also held a separate session for the faculties exclusively.
Mr. Michael PJ, DNipCare Volunteer presented on essentials of Palliative Care in an interactive session with the students.
KV Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare made the concluding session presentation on Palliative Care.
Ms. Seema Prasad, Student Coordiator of DNiCare and Miss Himani Tomar, Mr. Sidhant Beniwal & Miss Happiness Ndlov, the Social Work students interning with DNipCare extended support to the program.
Mr. Mony C, Faculty of the School coordinated the event.
Over 350 students and the faculties of the school attended the program.
