DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Clinic on 15th September 2024

 

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Clinic in association with KMWA, Delhi on 15th September 2024 managed by the Volunteers Team of Dr. Nizam Ali of CGHS, Dr. Mukut Bhowmik WHO Delhi, Dr. Bilal Muhammed also of CGHS supported by Mr. Imran, Nursing Officer, Safdarjung Hospital, Ms. Pearly Sen, Consultant Bio-Chemist, Jaipur Golden Hospital, along with other Volunteers Mr. Somasekharan, Nursing Students Miss Pooja Lohiya, Jamia Millia Islamia Students Miss Shabnam Abbasi, Miss Khairunnissa, Zakir Hussain College Students Mr. Wafis, &  Mr. Hafis, Other Students, Miss Rehnuma, Miss Raveena, Miss Moni, and Master Yuvaraj.  

Mr. Sadananda Menon Sir, our respected veteran paid his routine visit to the Clinic this time.

It was really wonderful interacting and trying to sensitize the group of University/College Students of Delhi, who happened to be around for attending the program in the adjacent Karthiayani Auditorium on the occasion of ONAM festival today, 15th September 2024.  Hope some of them, if not all, will definitely take it up seriously and venture to start volunteering with DNipCare in the coming days.  After all our hope is in the younger generation who are ambitious, keen to learn and having potential to think beyond the frameworks.    

Analysis of Number of patients availed consultation and medicines from the Clinic today : 77 patients with the break up of 17 Male, 60 Female, 13 Pediatric and 19 Geriatric patients.

Shri Nirmal Singh ji one of our DNipCare family members left this World on 04th September 2024

When he left this world on 4th September 2024, it was a long journey of togetherness with him starting from 13th March 2012 which ended here.  Mr. Nirmal Singh, the over 75 years old resident of Chand Nagar of Tilak Nagar was one of those patients found to be always with a happy and contented face.  Many of our Volunteers have met him and interacted with him at his home during DNipCare home care visits all these 12 years since March 2012.  Getting him the required Urostomy bags and bases every month without any break was strictly ensured by our Suresh Sir by purchasing from Ostomy Society of AIIMS and nearby Medical Shops, if not available in AIIMS, and sending through any of his colleagues staying in the West Delhi area.  
Fond memories with our respected Nirmal Singhji  and with his demise, one more member of our DNipCare Palliative family has left us.  Let us all pray for his departed soul.

DNipCare Charitable Palliative OP Clinic in association with KMWA, Delhi on 08th September 2024 managed by the Volunteers Team of Dr. Shamiya Anwar of AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Nizam Ali of CGHS, Dr. Nithin Jose of Jaipur Golden Hospital supported by Mr. Desanth Chakampath, Nursing Officer, Safdarjung Hospital, Ms. Pearly Sen, Consultant Bio-Chemist, Jaipur Golden Hospital, along with other Volunteers Mr. Cyriac Antony, Mr. Abdul Kareem, Mr. Somasekharan, Nursing Students Miss Pooja Lohiya, Miss Riya Lohiya, Jamia Millia Islamia Student Mr. Muhammed Safuwan AK, Miss Shabnam Abbasi, DU Student Miss Safa Mariyam.  

Dr. Hitesh Kumar, Ms. Lekha Anil, Mr. Anil have also visited the Clinic today. 

The certificates of Volunteering has been handed over to Dr. Shamiya Anwar by Mr. Abdul Kareem, IES, Economic Adviser, Department of Land Resources, Govt. of India and Volunteer DNipCare  and Mr. Michael PJ, Director(Retd.) of Ministry of Environment & Forest & Climate Change and also Office Bearer of DNipCare.

Analysis of Number of patients availed consultation and medicines from the Clinic today : 105 patients with the break up of 19 Male, 86 Female, 30 Pediatric and 22 Geriatric patients.
