We are very sad to inform that one of our Palliative family members, Mr. Vijay, of Saidapet, Tamil Nadu died at 10.00 PM today, 16th November 2015 in Delhi State Cancer Institute, Dilshad Garden, Delhi.  Let is all pray for the departed soul.

Deepavali Celebrations with Cancer Patients on 8th November 2015 in Sir Sobha Singh Dharamshala of Delhi State Cancer Institute, Dilshad Garden, Delhi

The Volunteers of DNipCare celebrated Deepavali with Cancer Patients in Sir Soba Singh Dharamshala of Delhi State Cancer Institute, Dilshad Garden, Delhi on 8th November 2015.  

With Diyas and Rangoli, it was an attempt to bring some colours and light to the life of suffering cancer patients of far flung areas staying in Dharamshala and availing treatment from adjacent Cancer Institute.  

The patients and their bystanders wholeheartedly participated in the event as almost all of them are not in a position to enjoy the festivals with their near and dears at their homes far away from Delhi.

Vincy Foundation Award for Palliative Care under DNipCare on 28th October 2015

In memory of late Mrs. Vincy Balakrishnan, who died of Cancer on 28th October 2009, her husband Mr. Balakrishnan established the Vincy Foundation to support Cancer Patients and also propagate prevention of Cancer.  

The Foundation instituted an Award to promote services in this arena and their first award comprising of Rs.one lakh in Cash and Memento has been given to DNipCare by Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan (Retd. Supreme Court), Prof. Omcherry NN Pillai, and Shri Balakrishnan, Chairman, Vincy Foundation in a function held on 28th October 2015 in Kerala Club, M 67, Connaught Place, New Delhi to inaugurate the Foundation.

Shri A.T. Sainudin, President and KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare received the Award.
