Bhaskar ji, a man who kept his pledge to live
ReplyDeleteWanted to break the rhythm of his pain
Demystified the wrong beliefs of his near ones
Never let his heart lose its wish to live
Bhaskar sets off himself, but never his mind
His brother’s codes of care with fruits of love,
Remained as a solace for his daily ordeals
Even when his hand touched the colostomy bag,
With severe pain, he uttered, "chechi chetta”, in a smile
His sincerity, his courage made others’ mind active
His reels of stories had no end when with DNipCare
Sometimes stuck on his bad memories,
Once whispered, if she were with me ......,
The beauty with which he called "aith bhaiya"
Will remain as an echo in my mind always
His pain, strain and brain all finished its journey
May God bless his soul with a heavenly relief.
