Hindu College, Delhi University - Orientation on Palliative Care

The volunteers of DNipCare held an orientation session on Palliative Care for the students of The Hindu College, University of Delhi today, i.e., 3^rd November 2014.  Dr. Achala Tandon, Deptt. Of Sociology presided over the function and Raginee Nath along with Arshad Nihal coordinated the program.

Arun Unnikrishnan, Bhumika Gupta, Suresh Thaliyaril, Seema Prasad and KV Hamza, the volunteers conducted the program and sensitized the Health sector students of NSS Wing of the college on the plights of ailing patients and the essentialities of palliative discipline.  

Consequent on Aditi Mahavidyalaya & Sree Ram College of Commerce stepping into providing palliative care through their students volunteers, Hindu is the third college under the Delhi University initiating introduction of community based palliative care for the young minds under the Students in Palliation project of DNipCare.
