The volunteers of DNipCare (Delhites’
National Initiative in Palliative Care) carried out the Winter Virtue through
Woolen Support to Cancer Patients along with Celebration of Christmas and
New Year with the patients at 2.30 PM on Sunday, 28th December 2014
in Sir Sobha Singh Dharamshala of Delhi State Cancer Institute, Dilshad Garden,
Delhi.
The woolens were provided to
patients admitted in Delhi State Cancer Institute and also to the Cancer
patients staying in Dharamshala adjacent to the Institute. Of the woolens of Blankets, Caps & Socks,
the blankets were sponsored by Delhi Islahi Centre.
Dr. RK Grover, Director & CEO of Delhi
State Cancer Institute inaugurated the program and A.T. Sainudin, President
presided over the Christmas and New Year Celebrations by the volunteers with
Cancer patients. The student volunteers
from IIT Delhi, SRCC, Aditi Mahavidyalaya & IGNOU also participated in the
