Promoting Ecellence in Palliative Care Nursing - DNipCare Echo 04th Session held at 4.00 PM on 21.11.2020

 

The DNipCare held the 04th Academic Session of ECHO program on “Promoting excellence in Palliative Care Nursing at 4.00 PM on Saturday, 21st November 2020.

Dr. Savita Butola, Secretary, Indian Association of Palliative Care was the Special Invitee during the Session.  She spoke on efficacy of Palliative Care and its delivery for the suffering chronic patents.

The Academic Session was coordinated by Dr. Bhargavi CN, Academic Coordinator, DNipCare. 

Prof . (Dr) Saveena G Raheja, I/C Palliative and pain clinic, Safdurjung Hospital along with  Dr. Raminder Kalra, Principal, College of Nursing, Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi facilitated and comprehended the Session on Symptom Management. 
 

Mrs. Geetha  Rawat and Mrs. Shiny K A  did the case presentations during the session.

 

Dr. Rajashree & Dr. MalarVizhi did the Sessions on Symptom Management and discussed the subject answering the questions of participants.

 
Ms. Usha Kuthirayodan , Clinical Nurse consultant, Palliative care, Australia and Mrs. Ranita Maibam, CHO, Manipur shared their Palliative Care experiences in Australia and Manipur respectively.  
 
Shri Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare coordinated the overall program of the day. 
Mr. Rapolu Shekhar , Tutor, ESIC, Guilberga  summarised the learning highlights.

KV Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare  said a vote of thanks.

The participants of the Academic Session attended the post session test and also conveyed their satisfaction of attending the extensive session on Symptom Management in Palliative Care.
