All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Delhi in association with DNipCare held a Palliative Care Sensitization Program for its Nursing Fraternity on 4th October,2023.
Prof. Dr. Anand More, Dean PG Course, Prof. Dr. Mahesh Vyas, Dean PhD, Prof. Dr Anantharaman Sharma, Medical Supdt. Dr. Alka Kapoor,
Deputy Medical Superintendent, Ms. Sindhu Rajesh, Nursing Supdt. and
Ms. Megha Gupta, Asstt. Nursing Supdt. spoke on the occasion.
The program was moderated by K V Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare. Ms. Jessy Shaji Paul, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, AIIMS, New Delhi talked on "Introduction and Need of Palliative Care", Prof(Dr) A.T Kora, Nursing Superintendent (Rtd), St.Stephens' Hospital, Delhi on "Nurses Role in Palliative Care" and Sr.Tabitha, Administrator, Shanti Avedna Sadan spoke on Cancer Hospice Care and the Centre thereon.
Ms. Sindhu Rajesh, Nursing Supdt. AIIA jointly coordinated the program with Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, and Mr. Arun Prakash, Volunteer of DNipCare.
