SNDP Delhi Union, South Extension held a Cancer Awareness & Palliative Care Sensitization Session in association with DNipCare along with its AGB meeting on 28th April 2024 at Durga Mandir, Gautam Nagar, New Delhi.

Delhi State, World Health Organization led the Team comprised of Mr. Antony Cyriac, Executive Member, Mr. Abdul Kareem PK, Volunteer and KV Hamza, General Secretary, DNipCare.
Dr. Lakshmi Aravindan spoke in detail on the importance of prevention of Cancer, necessary lifestyle and dietary precautions, treatment protocols when diagnosed with the disease, Governmental facilities for the patients and also the need of creating awareness.
KV Hamza sensitized the gathering on the necessity of understanding Palliative Care and how it is everybody's business in life. Apart from disease conditions, the role of Palliative Care for Geriatrics and in personality development of youngsters to become caring human beings have also been explained to the audience. The Program was coordinated by Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Vice-President, DNipCare.
