The NSS Unit of IIT Delhi in association with DNipCare held a Mental Health & Palliative Care Session on 15th October 2024 in the Seminar Hall of the Institute.
Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Garg of IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi talked in details on introduction to the Palliative Care and also on Mental Health. KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare talked on Community Based Palliative Care while the role of Students in Palliative Care has been elucidated by Ms. Seema Prasad, Students Coordinator of DNipCare. Around one hundred students from various streams of Engineering and Technology actively participated in the program. Many of them are currently volunteering with DNipCare assisting in the Weekly Clinic and for other activities.
