Academic Session of DGHS -DNipCare – ECHO India program on “Promoting Excellence in Palliative Care Nursing – Batch-2, Session 3” on 20th November 2021

 

The Online Academic Programme of DGHS -DNipCare – ECHO India program on “Promoting Excellence in Palliative Care Nursing – Batch-2, Session-3” held on 20th November 2021.  

The topic of the Session -2 was Communication and Breaking the Bad News. 

Dr. Mhoira E.F. Leng, the Specialist Palliative Care Physician, Head Palliative Care Makerer University, Uganda, Medical Director, Cairdeas international Palliative Care Trust, Scotland was the  Special Invitee to felicitate the programme and the participants.  Dr. Mhoira while addressing the participants highlighted on the compassion and excellence in Palliative Care.

Ms. Seema Prasad, Volunteer Coordinator DNipCare welcomed the faculties, dignitaries and all the participating Nursing fraternity.    

Mrs. Jessy Shaji Paul, Senior Nursing Officer of All India Institute of Medical Sciences and an ardent Volunteer of DNipCare moderated the Session.

Mrs. Nileema Shingade,   Senior Nursing Officer in the All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi, ELNEC Trainer introduced the topic of the Session to the participants.

Hanife Mac Gamwell Palliative Care Nurse Specialist, Coordinator and Instructor ELNEC USA, Honorary Head and Instructor, India and Volunteer of DNipCare given the presentation on the topic and comprehensively took the class for the participants.  

Case/Experience sharing done by Smt Maibam Ranita Devi,  Community Health Officer working in Health & Wellness Center Awang Wabagai Imphal West, Manipur.

Shri KV Hamza, Gen. Secretary, DNipCare said vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, faculties and particpants of the programme effectively coordinated by Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare and partnered by Echo India represented by Mr. Albin Mathews.
