Palliative Care - An update, a Virtual National Campaign on Palliative Care by Jagadguru Shankarachary College of Nursing Sejbahar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in association with DNipCare on 27th November 2021

Jagadguru Shankarachary College of Nursing, Sejbahar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in association with DNipCare conducted a Virtual National Campaign on Palliative Care under the theme Palliative Care - An update, Palliative Care Sensitization Programme for Nursing Students on 27th November 2021.

Dr. Rathi Balachandran, ADG Nursing, MoHFW, Govt of India inaugurated the programme and spoke on the subject.  She has also highlighted the Pain Free Hospital concept of DGHS, MoHFW, Government of India.

Dr. Saveena G. Raheja, Incharge, Pain Clinic, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Dayal, Consultant, Palliative Pain Clinic, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital and Ms. Ramita Maibam, CHO, Health & Wellness Centre, Awang, Imphal, Manipur were the faculties to impart the subject to the student participants of the Jagadguru Shankarachary College of Nursing.  

Prof. Sabina Benn, Principal Jagadguru Shankarachary College of Nursing welcomed the participants and presided over the programme moderated by KV Hamza, General Secretary and jointly coordinated by Mr. Suresh Thaliyaril, Secretary, DNipCare with Mr. Jishnu Vasavan, Professor, Community Health Nursing.
